Ras Al Khaimah Economic and Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a forum entitled "Cooperation between the public and private sectors" on 25 April at the Chamber Theater.
The seminar will highlight the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors, as well as the best practices, prospects and aspirations. The forum will include an extensive dialogue session between representatives of the public and private sectors, where representatives of some government agencies will present The role of their stakeholders in supporting the private sector by improving the services they provide to this sector and the prospects and future plans for their development, as well as evaluating their experience in the interaction of the private sector with their services and initiatives.
Mohammed Hassan Al-Sibb, Acting Director General of the RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that the private sector is of great importance for economic growth in the emirate. Some representatives of private sector companies will participate in this forum for fruitful dialogue with representatives of the public sector. Cooperation in a number of areas, especially policies and legislation, procedures, services and fees, project support and regulatory frameworks to ensure that the dialogue between the parties is institutional and continuous, and other areas especially in times of private economic challenges.
He expressed the hope that the forum will be a new starting point to enhance the opportunities for cooperation between the public and private sectors according to systematic and institutional frameworks to achieve a unified strategy to develop the role of the private sector and to address the challenges that limit the implementation of this strategy. Periodic recommendations to decision-makers in the Emirate, follow-up and joint assessment of what is being taken.
